Hi and everyone and welcome to my blog.
I am an infosec enthousiast and go by the ID of Rival23.
my enthousiasm in infosec world started at the age of 18 where I started the studies applied Informatics. here I learnt the basics of coding, networking and architecture. after 2 years of studying my focus began to wander to infosec.
I started my infosec adventure with some basic courses on udemy about ethical hacking and how to get certified. I learned the ways of network hacking, penetration testing, web application testing and python.
with that new knowledge I started my HackTheBox adventure and made an account. the first few boxes were very difficult but learned me a lot about the way to approach several situations and how to keep perseverance when nothing seems to work.
on HackTheBox I learned about some other principles I wasn’t yet familiar with like steganography and cryptography but also a little reverse engineering and how to pwn code. this new knowledge came in handy when trying to somewhat more difficult boxes on HackTheBox.
So here I am now trying to make some kind of collection of things I’ve done, or somethings that just interest me. by looking around on my blog you’ll see several documentations of how I hacked a box.
the active ones will be protected with the root hash as requested by the staff of HackTheBox
I will also try to show some walkthroughs for interesting or funny CVE’s I’ve encountered on my journey or just some tips and tricks…
I also want to give a special thanks to lots of friends that I made during this adventure! each one of them has helped me so much and I hope one day I can return this favor
anyway thanks for reading and enjoy my blog!
